Our response to Covid 19

We responded quickly in March 2020 to enable our colleagues to work from home. We are
proud that our colleagues provided exceptional service to our clients while protecting
themselves, their families and their communities.

 

Throughout the pandemic we have maintained some operational colleagues working from
site to manage post, support with scanning and distribution of files. We have operated a
process where colleagues can gain access to our offices to carry out specific tasks if
needed.  We remain extremely grateful to those colleagues for their continued support.

 

We are now evolving, using our Covid-19 Risk Assessment, to enable our colleague’s
phased return to our offices. We tailored our colleagues return to work, facilitating their
personal circumstances and caring responsibility’s.

 

Here is a summary of our Covid -19 journey to date. 

Risk Assessment

We carried out with our colleagues a Covid-19 Risk Assessment which is published
internally, and reviewed regularly.

 

Our Colleagues

Many of our colleagues are juggling, a variety of personal situations including caring
responsibilities and other vulnerabilities. We’ve encouraged all colleagues to work flexibly to support themselves, their families and our clients. We deliver regular updates sharing
information and best practice. There is also support from our specialists in IT, Operations
and HR, on hand to support where appropriate.

 

Our Offices

We have put restrictions in place around who can visit our offices. We have mandatory face
masks in our communal areas, limited people social distancing observed at all times. We
have increased the amount of hand sanitiser stations and antibacterial wipes are at all
stations and equipment. We have introduced elevated cleaning and sanitising protocols.

 

Home Working
We are supporting our colleagues working from home with laptops, display screen
equipment, home working equipment. .We have introduced digital screening, new tools, zoom calls, encouraged our colleagues to share best practice.

 

We also appreciate that for a number of our colleagues an enforced period of home working, as well as limits on socialising and family interaction, may have an impact on their mental health. We’ve continued to provide support through our wellbeing programme.

 

The Future

We are so proud of how our colleagues have adapted and continue to provide excellent service to our clients. We will continue to engage with our colleagues and clientsto support them to work digitally and remotely where possible. We will also continue to enhance our digital offerings and do more to remove paper from processes to continue to support a flexible way of working in the future. We will continue to review our generic Covid- 19 Risk Assessment on a regular basis.
