Will Expenses

  • Thirdfort Identity check – £20.34 (inc VAT) (Fixed Fee) per name searched
  • Codicil Fee – £50 Plus VAT at 20% = £60

It is vital for everybody to have a Will drawn as dying without a Will can have lengthy and potentially expensive consequences for your next of kin. This may also mean that the people who you would like to inherit your estate may not which in turn can cause family problems. By having a Will is  the only enforceable way of giving a clear explanation of your wishes and guaranteeing that your property and possessions go to the people you intend, which in turn ensures your peace of mind.

A lasting power of attorney is a document that allows you to choose someone that you trust to act as an attorney, to make decisions on your behalf about things such as property and affairs or personal welfare at a time in the future when you no longer wish to make those decisions, or you may lack the mental capacity to make the decision yourself.
